Rock for Love

Shriners International is a global fraternity with more than 150 years dedicated to one very specific purpose: saving and transforming the lives of children with severe burns, orthopedic conditions, cleft lip and palate, and spinal cord injuries. It does so through a network of pediatric hospitals across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Families do not pay a single cent. Surgeries, treatments, travel, lodging, follow-up care — everything is completely free for the children treated and their families. It is all sustained by donations and fundraising.

The King Kanek Club is the local chapter of Egypt Shriners in Guatemala. We are the bridge that identifies Guatemalan children who need specialized care not available here, and connects them with Shriners hospitals in the U.S. and Mexico. We cover the airfare, the paperwork and the family's support — everything needed for a child to reach the treatment that will give them their life back.

Every donation counts. Q150 might seem like a small amount, but multiplied by every person who fills the Sociedad Dental this night, it becomes a plane ticket, a treatment, a real chance for a child to smile again.
